Colorful Goodstone Inn Wedding

Updated: Jan 19

Color was the shining star in this Goodstone Inn wedding. Some couples just love the idea of having all the color possible in their wedding flowers, while others opt for a more classic and timeless feel with either a monochromatic color palette or a classic green and white palette.

In this case, the flowers were a true balance of both. We had such a fun time designing for this wedding. The bride chose to use a good balance of color with lots of classic white and cream tones accented with pops of color including corals, oranges and peach tones. The setting for this wedding was also quite perfect for this color palette. It was at The Goodstone Inn & Restaurant in Middleburg, VA and their perfectly manicured landscape (all green btw... thank you summer!) was a great backdrop for the pops of color we used throughout the event.

The sailcloth tent provided by Sugar Plumb Tents was perfect in this landscape. We decorated the entrance to it with re-purposed items from the ceremony and added some lanterns for ambiance at night. The guest tables were a mix of round and rectangular ones which we designed to have low compote arrangements accompanied by budvases and a mix of taper and votive candles. Linens were beautifully textured with green and white elements and every detail of this special day was captured amazingly by Brigitte Renee Photography.
