Sometimes we are fortunate enough to book couples who want something "out of the box". Last year, we were able to celebrate a couple who wanted all things moody. From black table linens to a black wedding dress, black cake and burgundy blooms to match. This beautiful couple got married at The Line Hotel in Washington D.C. in January of 2020 (right before the pandemic hit our area). Needless to say, their winter wedding was one for the books (at least our books).
The bride chose a simple black dress she purchased on her own and coupled with the groom's burgundy tux jacket these two were stunners. Did I happen to mention that his burgundy tux jacket was velvet?!?! We designed a simple ceremony in the Carina room of The Line and their reception was held in their Banneker room. This couple partied and celebrated their love in a big way.
We hope you enjoy this moody wedding fit to inspire any couple wanting to make a statement for their big day. Captured by Paige Elizabeth Photo
