Winter Wonderland Barn Wedding at Sweeney Barn

Lush winter greens, white blooms, amber lighting and a 50 degree day in February is what made this winter wonderland wedding so spectacular. Two cultures combined when a Greek bride married her Bangladeshi groom on this winter day. Horses, carriages, written poetry, a champagne dancer and lush lounge seating came together to create this event. Attention to detail has never been so grand. From personalized napkins, to personalized favors, vintage books and so much more, this couple truly had their guests in mind when planning this gorgeous wedding.

With cypress fern, Christmas trees and plumosa, we created gorgeous arrangements fit for a winter wedding. We used a classic color palette of greenery and white and the couple brought in wonderful textural elements like dark green velvet to use throughout the space as table runners, ribbons, tie backs for draping and other details. The venue was an old barn that was transformed into something out of a story book. The bride wore a ballgown fit for a queen and she carried one of the most beautiful bouquets which included a King Protea as the focal flower. The groom arrived atop a white horse while family and friends danced around him. It was one of the most wonderful days we've had the opportunity to design for.

The main focal point of the reception was the grand sweetheart table we designed. Complete with a moon arch, Christmas trees, lush candle light and vintage books, it made our couple the main attraction that evening (as it should have been). I could go on and on about how beautiful everything turned out but I'll let the images captured by Karis Marie Photography tell the story. This intricate event included over 30 vendors to bring it to life and it was masterfully coordinated by White Dress Black Tie. Delicious food was served to guests by Spilled Milk and Something Vintage along with Select Event Rentals, Bella Villa and Leah Letters brought the decor touches to bring this magical event to life. Please enjoy some of my favorite images from this wedding but more than anything else, I hope you're inspired by this amazing day.
